The Climate Commitment Weeks are presented as a tool for the Lima-Paris route. In each one there are spaces for debate, to raise awareness, communication, discussion, exchange of experiences and the contruction of a common vision on climate change issues at the national and international level. In 2015, the Ministry of the Environment has planned to conduct 3 Climate Commitment Weeks, which are:

  • First Week of Climate Commitment: It was conducted from May 25 to 29, and it aimed at conveying the achievements and challenges left by the COP20 for Peru, and listen the steps that are being made to strengthen the domestic climate agenda towards the COP21.   • Second Week of Climate Commitment: It was conducted from August 2 to 28 and it had more than 20 activities, including spaces for debate, discussion and exchange of experiences on climate change issues. Read each event’s presentations in detail here.
  • Third Week of Climate Commitment: It will be held from November 2 to 6.
