Eye on climate change. Call for data visualizations on climate change

ojo_english1

The Twentieth Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP20) to be held in Lima, Peru calls for data visualizations on climate change in the following topics:

  • Mountains, Glaciers and Water Resources
  • Forests
  • Sustainable Cities
  • Energy
  • Oceans
  • Indigenous Peoples and Climate Change

We accept static and dynamic infographics which include (albeit not exclusively) information from the past 5 years. With this information we will compile short videos to be shown in front of authorities, scientists, NGO representatives and civil society. The visualizations will be shown at “Voices for the Climate”, a participation space for over 12 thousand international visitors and the national public that will come to Lima during COP20. In addition, we will generate posts in social media and on the COP20 website about the most interesting visualizations.

We hope that the opportunity to showcase your research at a global stage is of your interest.
