Action Day: A Message from the World’s Astronauts to COP21

"Do not lead this opportunity pass. Put your words on actions", is the principal message of this video that it was played to World Leaders at the opening of Action Day during the COP21, on December 5th.

"This is our last opprtunity to save the world, our planet", is the main idea that the Association of Space Explorers share in the video.  Astronauts pass a simple message of solidarity, hope and collaboration to combat climate change and reach our political leaders during such a crucial time.

The Action Day highlighted the existing momentum for scaled-up engagement by state and non-state actors and shows the necessity, feasibility and power of multi-stakeholder climate action. The event took place in Le Bourget, in the official zone of negotiations in Plenary Loire from 9:30 to 17:30, on the 5 December 2015. More than 1,300 stakeholders, states, companies, cities and subnationals, members of civil society and journalists were in attendance.
